Alexa Star was great to work with. I am rather new to the world of modelling but she made me feel at ease and helped me to create the best poses for each shot. I presume that different models operate differently. Alexa did not require me to sign any contract. It was just a friendly word of mouth agreement. I was very lucky to get a nice, smart girl who is helpful and knowledgeable about photography. She even lent me her camera battery when mine ran out! Yet the best thing about her is that I hardly needed to tell her what to do - she was active and involved, changing poses constantly. I took over 3,000 shots. Some models are like blocks of wood - they have no idea what you want and have to be told to move. My photographer friend, John, says that with some models he has to physically move their arms, which he finds very annoying. I would probably have gotten only a fraction as many photos if I had to tell her to move for each one. It helps a lot that Alexa does glamour shots as a photographer as well as as a model.

The other nice thing about Alexa is that she enjoyed the session and was relaxed and free of prudery. A real professional. We had sounded each other out through email so we had a good idea that we would get on OK. I would definitely recommend this particular model though I suspect that there are not many as good as her. I got lucky - she was the first one I approached. You will probably find that most models are not willing to do topless shots, let alone nudity.
